Hello
Just quick today, because it turns out that the other printer is sick and so I have to do her job today as well. oh well, it's going to be a loooong day.
okay so a while ago, 4th for to be exact (2004) we were doing this team building thing where basically you're in groups, one person clings to this gym bench (roughly 15-20kgs maybe) the rest of the team picks the bench up, rotates it with you on it, then puts it down.
180 degrees into my turn the side of the team at which my head was decided to let go.
So my entire weight plus the bench's was suddenly dropped onto my head, with the other side being pummeled into the gyms welcoming wooden floor.
The sight in my left eye went completely for the rest of the afternoon, and needless to say I had a really bad head ache. I continued to have these head aches and blind spot issues for years, and it was kinda annoying. At least once a day i'd have a wee migraine where my head just felt like it had a stake shoved through it (not much fun really). Weirdly enough it happened the most on Sunday and Wednesday nights just before church..hmm
So last sunday night Dave gets this word;
"Some one here has a head ach, and it effects the vision in your left eye."
I actually jumped up and screamed a little because i had been praying that it would get healed.
So prayer later, and the later again prayer from Dave i still had a mild head ache.
But I realized this morning, that I haven't had once since i went to sleep that night!
And it's awesome!
Praise God, seriously he's so amazing.
If any one else got healed that night please email them to me and I'll put them on here.
God bless.
Jonny.

Wednesday Morning
Hello again.
Okay so i was hanging out at work, had an early start (5am) and my hand was really sore.
Which is never fun.
I think i damaged it a while ago when my flat mates and I decided to try punching through a pumpkin (their former target for a cross bow...good times at Worchester Palace).
Any way, the pain pretty much felt like the bone in my palm that connects to my ring finger wasn't in the right place. I have in the past fixed this temporarily by shoving it back until it clicks..that also hurts lots.
So this thing is really starting to annoy me, so i decide to pray about it.
I lay my left hand on my right and just say a simple prayer.
Then it begins to get really sore, it felt like the bone was moving inside my hand.
Then after about 10 seconds of that it stopped hurting, and it hasn't hurt at all since.
:) Twas awesome!
I spent the rest of the morning laughing and praising (until my boss came, didn't want to get fired because of suspected drug use).
hope you have a fantastic (although over cast) day.

Power of God = fantastic
This all happened the day before i started this blog.
I got home from Le Cafe at close to mid night (which is always a smart thing to do when you're planning an early start the next morning). As I was about to crawl into my bed I realized i'd left my mp3 player in my car, which I wanted to charge over night.
So I dawned my shoes again and headed towards my car which was in the back yard.
The whole day had been a very spiritual one for me, firstly the wee scene over the city in the post below. Then that night at church there was a very intense presence there, which couldn't be described as good.
This how ever I could feel being pushed away as we all prayed before Dave spoke.
Those of you who were there will know what I mean.
Any way, I'm half way out my back door (from which it is only about 8m to my car) and all the sudden I felt afraid. Which was confusing, because I don't get afraid of the dark.
Which used to be a big thing for me as a kid.
So there I was nearly paralyzed in fear, and then i thought;
"Well fear isn't of the kingdom of God, 2 Timothy 1 'God has not given you a spirit of fear', so this can only be an attack."
So as i've come to learn i simply said "In Jesus name fear leave me."
And amazingly enough, it did!
Then I felt myself being filled with the holy spirit, but not in the usual happy warm way.
It was a violent very powerful way, the kind of side of God that I'd love to feel more hehe.
Kinda made you wish you were holding a very very over sized sword.
By now i had my mp3 player in hand, I looked back at my house and felt like I should start praying against the spirits that no doubt have invaded my house. So i began simply to declare over the house what I had declared over myself (trying my best not to wake any one of cause).
The more i prayed, the more energy i felt flowing through me over the house.
it was pretty intense! And something i wouldn't mind happening on a regular basis.
I hope this has encouraged some one some how.
Just also want to clarify -
All glory to God, he only used me I had nothing to do with the power.

Welcome
Hello World
this is the first entry of the Testimony blog, which has been set up simply to share the happenings of God in the lives of many in this awesome city, Christchurch.
And that's exactly where I'm going to start: This city.
I was hanging out at a friends house the yesterday, we were praying for her back because it was hurting etc. She lives up on the hills, with a rather epic view of the city.
As i looked over the various buildings and areas it occurred to me, if I could see in the spiritual realm there would be a war going on right in front of my eyes! And that kinda blew me away.
like an actual war, Angles destroying demons, and demons attacking humans.
And the most inspiring thing about all of this is we as Christians are called to be a part of that war, and fighters for God and to drive back demonic strong holds! And even cooler - Gods given us the power to do it by planting his holy spirit in us when we were re-born!!
So any way, that got me all inspired and I thought I might pass that on in case it inspires others.
I look forward to reading lots of comments about what Gods been doing on this site :)
God Bless
